Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actor. She is the highest paid actress in Bollywood and she has been awarded for her work. Nush is her brand of clothing specifically for women. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for the brand and is also owner of numerous other brands. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma is daughter of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. The father of Anushka, who was an ex-colonel, is Anushka. Her mother is also a homemaker. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother who was a member of the Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School, Bangalore and has pursued the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka possesses a Master in Arts (Economics). Anushka was hoping to be an actor or journalist rather than an actor. Anushka completed her studies in Mumbai was accepted into Elite Model Management. Anushka began auditioning for films and enrolled in an acting school in addition to her work as a model. Anushka began her career as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan. As a screen test for her, she refused to do an impromptu one and took one day to get ready. After that, she was signed to three films under the Yash Raj Films banner. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the film Badmash Company. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she played a Punjabi middle class woman who started her own business. The movie received positive reviews and proved to be a sleeper hit. Anushka's contract for three films under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
